Share your views on a new draft mental health strategy
The ‘All-Age Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy’, which has been developed with feedback from a wide range of local people and organisations, helps set out a mental health vision for the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care System (BNSSG ICS).
The draft Mental Health Strategy outlines six ambitions to achieve the overall vision of mental service provision: holistic care, prevention and early help, quality treatment, sustainable services, health inequalities, and providing a great place to work for members of staff.
Dominic Hardisty, Chief Executive at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership said: "Mental health is one of our main health priorities as an ICS and the aim of this strategy is to highlight what we can do as a collective to achieve the greatest impact and make tangible improvements for people.
"We’ve undertaken extensive engagement to get to this point, but we are always keen to listen and would like to provide people with a further opportunity to have their say."
People can provide their feedback through a survey, which is also accessible in different formats and languages on request.
The deadline for feedback is Friday 1 December 2023. The Strategy will be finalised and published in early 2024.
Further information about the draft Mental Health Strategy, and access to the survey, is available on the Healthier Together website.
